We’ve been fortunate to witness many moments like this, and each one still moves us deeply.
But that moment doesn’t happen on its own. So here’s an honest look at how it happens — and how your support helps make it possible.
Why We Exist

Hair loss in a child is almost never just about hair.
It can be the child who stops raising their hand in class. The one who wears a hat indoors. The one who watches other children from a few feet away, even though that distance may feel much farther.
When a child loses their hair because of cancer, alopecia, or another medical condition, they may also lose something quieter but deeply important — the everyday feeling of belonging, confidence, and being like everyone else.
That is the gap we hope to help close.Every child deserves the chance to feel confident and like themselves again.

Little Heroes Hair was founded in 2019 and is registered as a nonprofit organization in Washington State. We operate our programs in accordance with applicable requirements and remain committed to responsible financial management.
We work to maintain clear records and provide meaningful updates so supporters can better understand how their contributions help children.
Rather than asking for blind trust, we believe in showing people how the program works whenever possible.
How a Wig Is Made

The journey from application to delivery usually takes six to eight weeks, and every child is treated as an individual.
1. Apply Online
A parent or guardian submits an application and supporting medical documentation through our website.
2. Case Review
Our team carefully reviews each application and considers the child’s specific needs and circumstances.
We aim to understand every child individually rather than treating applications as a one-size-fits-all process.
3. Custom Design
We work with the family to select the color, texture, density, length, and style that best suit the child’s preferences.
This is not simply a standard wig selected from a catalog. It is designed around the child’s individual needs.
4. Professional Craftsmanship
Each wig is made with real human hair and customized with comfort and everyday wear in mind.
Our partner, Lordhair, brings years of experience in hair systems and wig craftsmanship to support the design and production process.
5. Delivery and Follow-Up Care
Once completed, the wig is shipped to the child’s family.
We follow up to learn about the fit, comfort, and overall experience, and we offer additional support when needed.
